Associate Professor of Cardiology
Prior to becoming Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Dr. Kim served as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology. Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in subspecialties of cardiology and interventional cardiology. He has lectured as well as co-authored articles and book chapters on a variety of cardiology and interventional cardiology subjects. In addition, Dr. Kim has been a principal investigator or co-investigator on several cardiology research projects.
Dr. Kim received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency, a fellowship in general cardiology and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at The Mount Sinai Scholl of Medicine.
