We are excited to once again partner with Directors Dr. Stavros Mountantonakis and Dr. Raman Mitra of Northwell Health to host a 2-day Electrophysiology Course on Thursday, January 18 - Friday, January 19.
This course was developed to equip Cardiology and Electrophysiology fellows with a comprehensive analysis of contemporary Electrophysiology topics. The course seeks to provide emerging electrophysiologists with a detailed understanding of heart rhythm disorders starting from developing a strong knowledge foundations of cardiac anatomy and physiology and applying this knowledge into clinical practice. The course is divided into sections: porcine heart dissection and anatomical correlates, device therapies, as well as therapies for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.
The course will emphasize emerging technological advancements in the areas of cardiac implantable electronic devices, catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia. Presentations will be based on analysis of clinical cases and audience participation will be highly encouraged.
